I write to share bittersweet news that I will be stepping down as President of Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ to become President at Georgetown University. My last day as your president will be at the end of winter quarter in March.

In light of President Peñalver’s announcement this morning, I want to express the Board of Trustees’ deep gratitude for Eduardo’s exceptional leadership and to share the path forward for Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­.

Today, Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ marks Indigenous Peoples’ Day. Observed on the second Monday of October, the commemoration can be traced to the 1977 International NGO Conference on Discrimination Against Indigenous Populations in the Americas.

We are pleased to announce that, effective July 1, the College of Nursing has been officially reorganized as the College of Nursing and Health Sciences. This follows approval by our Board of Trustees at their March meeting.
